As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi, Didube-Chughureti, Isani-Samgori and Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Divisions under Tbilisi Police Department arrested 4 people on drug charges.
The following persons were detained on charges of illegal purchase and storage, sale, attempted sale and preparation of sale of a particularly large amount of narcotic drugs: S.K., born in 1984; previously convicted and currently on probation K.Kh., born in 1973 and R.A., born in 1992, and D.S., born in 1990.
As a result of the personal searches and searches held in their vehicle, as well as during the investigative experiment conducted, law enforcement officers seized narcotic drugs for sale, "Alpha-PVP", "Methadone", and "Buprenorphine", from the locations indicated by them, as evidence.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation is underway under Articles 260, Parts III, V, VI, 18, 260, Part V, 19-260, Parts IV, V, and VII of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
